4 Steps to Posting More Consistently on Social Media.

Consistency is key. I have said it again and again. But now I am going to tell you the 4 steps that will help you stay consistent when posting to Social Media. Here they are:

  1. Determine how often, what days, and what times you would like to post.

You may want to post Monday to Friday, or seven days a week, or even just Tuesdays and Thursdays for example. But choose what days you will post and always stick to those days. Then choose your time to post. Do you think your audience is on the computer more in the mornings, mid day, or in the evenings. I personally like to post Monday to Friday at 8am.

  2. Decide what you are going to post.

If you want engagement, then ask questions. Do you want inspiration, then post quotes. Or a little of both. Remember to use hashtags also. You can do a hashtag every Monday, a quote on Tuesdays, a question on Wednesdays etc…..Keep it consistent.

  3. Use a calendar.

I use a simple paper calendar and by the time I am done scheduling all of my posts it is a mess. LOL! But it is an organized mess. I like to create all my Monday posts, then all my Tuesday posts and so on. Until my month is full and I can see it all in front of me. You may prefer to use an online calendar, or a spreadsheet. Whatever works for you to keep your thoughts, and posts, organized.

  4. Schedule your posts.

If you are posting on Facebook and Instagram, then Creator Studio is a great program for scheduling all of your posts ahead of time. This is the best way to ensure that your posts will be consistent. After scheduling your posts for the week, or month, you can look back over all of your scheduled posts and have some insight as to what days and times your posts seem to work the best.

Now that you have your days and times, your content, and your calendar full of scheduled posts you will be consistent on Social Media and that is key to more likes, followers, and customers.

Have fun and let me know in the comments if these tips were helpful.
